Financing the companies that build Guinea's economy.

Gola Capital Partners finances and supports high-potential Guinean start-ups and SMEs. We hold the national component of international financing programmes in Guinea, and we stay alongside the companies long after the money is disbursed.

What we do

Capital, and what makes it useful.

Financing alone does not grow a company. We combine four levers, because it is the way they work together that turns a solid project into a bankable business.

01

Financing

Minority equity and quasi-equity investments and seed financing, sized to the company's scale and maturity.

02

Support

Regular, hands-on follow-up, governance structuring and preparation for the next rounds. We take a seat, and we keep it.

03

Technical assistance

Skills development, knowledge transfer and training. It represents on average close to 50 per cent of each ticket invested.

04

Network

Access to banks, guarantee funds, development institutions and industrial players, in Guinea and across the sub-region.

Programmes

Two international financings, executed in Guinea.

Gola Capital Partners is the Guinean counterpart of two international financing programmes, executing their national component. In both, it runs operations in Guinea on its own responsibility, under the reporting and control standards of the institutions that fund it.

Our method

We come in early, and we stay.

Meeting with an entrepreneur

We work with local entrepreneurs and local suppliers. Alongside the founder, we build a growth strategy, then we execute it with them.

The relationship we look for is a long one. It starts with a demanding appraisal, and continues with a seat at the table, regular reporting and operational support on the areas where the company is weakest: financial structuring, governance, compliance and market access.

That is what it takes for a Guinean SME to become financeable by conventional banking channels, which remains our exit objective.

The group

The management company of the MBM Capital group.

Gola Capital Partners carries the group's institutional investment programmes and the private equity dedicated to Guinean SMEs.

MBM Capital, the parent company, carries the group's financial engineering and real asset structuring: instruments and vehicles backed by property, agricultural products and companies.

Both entities share the same execution discipline and the same network of institutions. What is originated on one side is structured on the other.

MBM Capital

A financial engineering and real asset house based in Conakry. It designs, structures and manages the group's investment vehicles.
